Good base and rings for my scope on my 30-06 savage?

Leupold and Millet make the best bases and rings for pretty much everything. You usually have an option of single base and split base for scopes and the the single are more solid and give you more mounting options but limit your access to the chamber because they will be over the top of it. I've never needed to use the singles and have done just fine. The Leupold do have a selection of heights more than the Millet, so if you have something like a 50mm front end on your scope that might be the best option.
