Optics or irons with a Ruger MKIII 6 7/8"?
4 days left out of the 10 day waiting period! Alllllmooooost there. You all know how that feels (at least if you live some place with a 10 day waiting period).
So what would you recommend I use for sighting it in? The standard irons? A red dot scope? A 2x scope? Links to specific makes and models that you'd recommend would be great.
Range would be 25 yards, mostly indoor conditions. Quick target acquisition not so much a concern as accuracy (I tend to be a slow shooter, makes my money last longer that way). Also not weighing a ton would be a plus.

A scope should only be considered after significant proficiency is gained shooting the gun with sights. With sights, you learn the gun. With a scope, you learn the scope.
