Fortis Teams up with Volkswagen for Award-winning Spaceleader Chronograph

There's no shortage of automotive-themed wristwatches in the market. Currently Volkswagen  has entered into the fold with Fortis to present a prominent and high tech Spaceleader Chronograph and has already won the coveted Red Dot design award, iF Product Design Award and the Good Design award.
As it is officially issued by Fortis: "The Volkswagen Design team, commissioned by Fortis, prepared a concept for a new Spaceleader model drawing inspiration from the elegance and simplicity that epitomises Volkswagen Design for the concept of the final piece."

The Fortis Spaceleader Chronograph by Volkswagen Design is in a limited production of 2012 pieces. In terms of exclusivity, this particular timepiece is quite rare. It is the quintessential combination of a group of creative talents from Volkswagen Desgin and professional technicians from the prestigious long-established watchmaker Fortis.

The Fortis Spaceleader Chronograph is animated by premium high precision automatic movement with a black dial and contrasting white accents mounted on a black coautchouc rubber strap. It is encasing in a highly polished case crafted from stainless steel, a case that through its construction hints to elegance and subtlety.     

The sensuous meticulously-crafted design of the automobile designers is multiply highlighted in all functional elements of the watch, on behalf of its unique character and grants an exceptional recognition value of this novelty.

The watch was named in the spirit of Fortis' continued collaboration with the space industry since the 1970's. Impressing both peers and collectors with audacious originality and impeccable quality, the Spaceleader Chronograph is created for tracking small time intervals with extreme accuracy.
