What about advance practice nurses (nurse practitioners, CRNAS, CNS, etc.)?
After nursing school (when I get in nursing school), should I obtain some experience or go strait to either Clinical nurse specialist or Nurse Practitioner (whats the difference?). If I were a Family Nurse Practitioner, could I work in a little bit of everything, and consult when its out of my scope? for example, there are TONS of jobs out there for Pain management nurse practitioners in my state. however, there are NO Pain management Nurse Practitioner Programs in my state. same goes for rehab and acute care. NO PROGRAMS!
