Leupold VX-II Rifle Scope?????

Can this Scope "everything else in good order, Mounted correctly" handle the vibrations caused by the fast burning powder of a .44 mag shell? The last scope I tried was a Bushnell dusk/dawn and after 20 rounds the crosshair was knocked loose, and is now unfixable. Mounted on a Marlin 1894ss.
Has anyone had experience with this scope:

I've used VariX II's for a heck of a lot more cartridge than that, with never a problem. Also, they do have a lifetime warranty and a responsive customer relations department.
I do have to wonder, though, why you'd put all that scope on a 44 Magnum carbine. I'd think you'd rather have a nice FX II 2.5x or something along those lines, if any scope at all.
