Remington 870 Police Mag upgrades...?

I have recently purchased this shotgun and love it but... i am curious as to what are some cool additions to make to it. Its soul mission is work (armored truck)/home defence... as of now i have: surefire light forend, ghost sights, mesatactical sidesaddle with top rail, specter gear 3-point sling... i am planning on buying the mesa recoil absorbing stock next... is there any real need for a scope on a shot gun? or is that only for hunting? what is a good laser unit out there? what can i do to give it more of an AR-15 type look? can i put a AR carry handle without messin up the ghost sights? is there such a thing as a custom "banana" style magazine for a shotgun? any/all suggestions are welcome... thanks all!
