What could I get out of a Mosin Nagant 91/30 that I have customized the crap out of!?
I have a new synthetice stock on it a ATI new bent bolt and a 2 drill scope mount that i drilled myself so its a dam good job plus bipod sling and 9 round shell holder on the stock plus a barska varmeter scope? Just for the record this thing can hit the 500 yard mark with no problem at all!
I think you will find it is harder to get rid of a sporterized milsurp than it is one that is unmodified. Sporterizing tends to hurt the value as well. I know you don't want to hear this, but you started with $100 rifle, and maybe, just maybe, you still have $100 rifle. The difference is the unmodified one will increase in value. It sounds like you have a very nice rifle that you have put a lot of work and money into. It sounds like it shoots great. I would suggest that you shoot and enjoy it as you thought you would when you started this project.
