Broken EOTech - Any Ideas?


Considering puirchasing an AR-15. Tips or suggestions?

For obvious, and not so obvious, reasons i'm considering buying an AR-15. Looking at an Armalite, possibly A4. I want to spend as far under $1000 as possible. I don't want the fixed shoulder stock, and I would like to maybe throw some upgrades at it such as accessory rails for optics and barrel grips, with the final product somewhere along the lines of the ones pictures below

These guns are not going to be banned with the gun lobbies recent victory in DC V HELLER. With that said I would say it's a waste of money. Sure they look cool and put another $1000 into it can shoot well too. If you want the gun because of the High capacity there are many other fine firearms with similar performance for a much more reasonable price. For example, a Ruger Mini 14 also in .223rem. or an AK-47 which cost about $300usd and the ammunition is half the price in the long term it will save you loads of money. If you want a sporter rifle that is accurate don't go with a semi-auto.
